Almost every one of us has an older or newer PVC window at home that we already look at with one eye as if it should be broken out and must put a new one. The history of PVC windows in Latvia is not that old at all, the beginnings can be traced back more than 30 years ago. One of the main things of a PVC window is the glass package installed there, which warms the room for us. More than 10-15 years ago, glass packages were produced either without selective glass at all or with the so-called K glass, therefore their efficiency was very low 2.0-3.0 UW. glass package, it can be incorporated in the old windows of REHAU, VEKA, KABE and other manufacturers, but not in all profiles. Condensation formation on the old glass packages is also a very common thing, especially in the cold periods of winter, the installation of this glass also reduces this problem by 80-90%, improves the microclimate in the rooms and reduces the formation of fungus around the window openings.
